What could be better than teamwork in the fight against mental illness and suicide? The Bluebird Run for Brookie B welcomes teams of all kinds. Whether you want to field a social team or a competitive team, this event is the place for you.
All registered teams will be listed on the Teams page of our web site and recognized on a special board at the event site. Both of these listings will include the Team Name and a list of the Team Members. We want to show the world how much you care as a Team.
There are two ways to win a Team Award. First, the Team with the most registered members will receive an award for bringing so many people to the event. All you have to do is bring together a bunch of friends. It doesn’t matter in which event your Team Members participate. All members can do the same event or each can do a different event. This is all about bringing more people to the event. Create a lasting memory for your Team!
For you competitors, there will also be an award for the Team with the fastest Team Time. This will be in the timed 5K event only. Teams in this category can be all male, all female or co-ed. Co-ed teams must have at least two female members. Teams must have a minimum of four members, but can have as many members as you can recruit. The top four times of team members will be used in scoring for the fastest team awards. First place only awards will be given to one team each in the categories of all male, all female and co-ed. Get your running friends together. It’ll be a blast!
To qualify for any of the awards, both the Team Name must be registered and each member of the Team must be registered individually with a Team designation through our online registration.
